Jun. 19, 2012: Last Four Zendikar Boosters…!!! Now I’m Sad…

Hahah I do like the artwork for Obsidian Fireheart… Haha it kinda makes me sad that I don’t play red that much (maybe I should start!) Scute Mob would be pretty neat late game (it’s an insect that suddenly gets a growth spurt and destroys stuff!) but it comes up a little too late. But I like it.

Jun. 16, 2012: Draft Day! Haha. :D Got To Play My Favourite Color!!

Sadly my deck wasn’t very strong because I was drafting the zendikar lands. 😛  For the future, I would get some more zendikar, but with 2013 coming soon… haha probably not for a while. Plus, our next exotic draft will be champions of kamigawa.. That would be fun! 😀

Jun. 9, 2012: Draft Day With Zendikar!! So Much Fun! Maybe I Should Pick Up Another Box…

In the first pack I picked up the Ascension card… But after I think like 2nd pick.. I was like “WHAT? Armament Master??” I know there are a lot of Kor cards in the set… Haha but I was surprised people passed it.

I think people has underestimated a lot of the zendikar cards. During my draft today I saw so many some blue and green cards that I would have done first picks. And it baffles me when after the 9th pick it’s still in the booster pack…

I was so tempted just to hate draft them all… But between the choice of pissing people off vs making my deck ubber… I had to keep taking the cards I need. I knew since no one took the Kor cards… I decided to grab as much as I could first…

Or maybe no one likes green… 😦 My favourite color to play is green.. Haha but I picked white after seeing the Armament Master… Yes, I rare-draft. 😛 Sometimes it’s helpful.

Played 4v4 because emperor is a complicated format. Gotta read up on the rules.

Jun. 7, 2012: Sealed Magic Games With Sally! :D

Not a bad deck actually. I needed the drowned catacomb for my zombie deck. ❤ Hahah. But otherwise, I think it wasn’t bad at all. I didn’t get to play many of my cards actually. There was one card that triumphed though. Hahah Sally hated it so much by the end of the evening (I only had one…).

Since when did phantasmal image at $15? haha I thought it was 8… It’s just begging me to play illusions though… We’ll see…

I want to play Shadowmoor sealed next. ;D Seems like fun!

June 1, 2012: It’s My Birthday!! :D Bwahahaha!! Bow Down To Me!!!

I kinda like what I see. I think the Bloodchief will work well in my new deck. Haha the red card works well in pure burn decks I think. But I don’t normally play red. It’s whatever the Draft Gods decide to make me play. I have learned to play control lately, but I am definitely missing aggro for sure! Not sure if it’s worth $25 though. 😛 Haha. I’ll pick up some boxes and see!
